  • Health Manager, Lagos

    The Role: SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT MANAGER:

    The successful candidate will be required to
    Create safety awareness actions on site and enforce safety measures and guidelines.
    Conduct safety inductions for new employees, attach├ęs, youth corps members and contractors on site.
    Perform risk assessment and ensure that permit to work system is enforced.
    Engage in daily routine safety inspections of the site.
    Ensure that all activities are carried out in such a manner that minimizes the risks to employees, contractors, property and equipment.
    Provide site risk management audits of the site and enforcement/implementation of the reports.
    Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitoring objectives and ensuring development needs are identified and actioned
    Conduct toolbox talks, counselling, coaching and training of the workforce in various risk management activities.


    -Investigate all accidents, near-misses, fire outbreaks and write reports.


    Undertake accident/incident investigations as the needs arise and implement remedial/preventive actions against re-occurrence of such (accident/incident)

    - Engage in fire drills.
    - Produce monthly risk management reports and statistics including Frequency Rate (FR) and Severity rate (SR).
    - Enforce strict compliance with the Risk Management Manual
    - Contribute to the update of the procedures and guidelines in the risk management manual as needed from time to time.

    The Right candidate must
    - Possess B.Sc. Mech. Engineering
    - Be a Computer expertise in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint, especially ISO 9000
    - Have 3 – 5 years minimum work experience
    - Have excellent oral and written communication skills

    The Role: PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR

    The successful candidate will be required to

    Handle the daily visitors appointment schedule in a professional manner ensuring that orderliness is maintained.
    Disseminate information when required.
    Liaise with the other PA’s as the task requires.
    Provide secretarial support such as word-processing documents, attending to all telephone enquiries.
    Taking minutes of meetings.
    Ensure the prompt replenishment of stationery stock.
    Attend to visitors in a professional manner ensuring that and refreshments provided.
    Liaise with passages department on ensuring that hotel reservations and booking of flights are made for trips.
    Liaise with Finance departments on payments that may be required for suppliers.
    Prepare official documents for the MD as required.
    Effectively managing Diary/ Calendar of the MD.

    The successful candidate will be required to

    - Develop and implement on approval, strategic paper on residential facilities and properties of the business taking into cognizance medium to long term impacts.
    -Ensure prompt and adequate supplies of utilities (diesel & water) to the residential quarters at all times
    - Ensure the proper maintenance of all residential quarters in line with the company’s policies and accepted safety standards to the satisfaction of all occupants.

    - Have First degree in Law, Estate Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or other related discipline
    - Have at least 5 years work experience in a similar role with a large organization

    - Be able to establishes Interacting and Communicating networks links within and outside the organization.

    The Role: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

    The successful candidate will be required to:
    Achieve profitable volume/market share target for the Region
    Ensures achievement of sales fundamentals (Coverage, distribution, visibility-shelving and Merchandising and pricing) for the Region
    Identifies training needs of ASMs, and RDMs, works with Route-to-market Manager and HR to build sales capability and ensure a talent pipeline

    The Right candidate must
    Graduate with 10 years minimum commercial expertise gained across Consumer Marketing and / or Sales Management. A strong track record in Sales at a management level, with experience in at least two areas of Sales. Particularly critical is previous experience of Field Sales or other customer facing roles.
    Have a strong leadership and communication skills –written and verbal
    Have a good understanding of all PZ Cussons Values, Capabilities and tools and how these interact together to deliver brilliant execution in Field Sales. Strong capability and able to coach others in Sales Drivers, Managing Relationships (including negotiation skills), Sales Force Effectiveness, Outlet Segmentation, JUBP and Targeted Trade Investment.

    Have an experience of leading / managing others, delivering results through teams and strong track record as a coach. Experience of change management is particularly valuable.
    Have exposure to strategy development is valuable. Strong project management skills, commercial and financial capability are important.
    Have experience of working with other parts of Sales and/or other functions is particularly valuable.
