    Job Description:
    Our client, is an international oil company with substantial crude oil production and export has currently commence a drilling and completions project that will run for 3-4yrs and we have been awarded the contract to staff this project.

    Roles:
    •Operational Excellence, Safety and Compliance Champion
    •Direct Daily Rig Operations and performance activities
    •Liaison with key contacts and Manages performance of Work Group, develop employees and support training
    •Communicates and direct Feasibility Risk Analysis of both old and New Technology

    Some responsibilities:
    •Ensures that all Rig activities are conducted in accordance with Contract terms and conditions, utilizing proper operating Procedures and techniques for safe and environmentally sound Operations.
    •Promotes and ensures compliance with Corporate ESF & H Policies and Standards throughout entire Drilling Operation, including Drilling contractors and Service Partners.
    •Actively participates in BBS Programs, Toolbox Meetings, and Pre-Tour Meetings and supports CONTRACTOR Safety Management Programs.
    •Work To implement the Tenets of Operations Excellence and Audits use of same Daily at Rig Site.
    •Demonstrates belief that Incident Free Operations can be achieved and promotes Team Building through Crew involvement.
    •Serves as a member of the Drilling and Completions Operations Excellence Leadership Team.
    •Provides other Leadership Team members with feedback and 'Lessons Learned' on efforts and results to achieve Incidence Free Operation.
    •Must be familiar with Emergency Response situations and drills.
    •Routinely expresses to Rig Site Personnel their Stop Work Authority and illustrates benefits of same at Pre-Tour Meetings.
    •Champions personality behaviors understanding (Colors) and utilizes same to foster Team Work while honoring Behavioral Tenets of Team Work as established by team.
    •Provides first line and overall Management of Rig Site Operations, directing same as overall project management.
    •Identifies and implements Well Operation performance improvement opportunities, such as co-ordinating development of new offline activities and assures such activities are well documented and risk assessed.
    •Actively supports Knowledge and Technology Management Coordinator in tracking of performance and Operational improvements via Knowledge Management and Technical Limits processes and champions similar efforts on part of all Rig Site Personnel.

    Required Qualifications:
    • A  Bachelor Degree In Engineering in any University or equivalent.
    • Must be an Experienced Drilling Supervision on rig, past deepwater operations experience. 
    • Must have at least 15years of deepwater experience with supervisory capacity in oil and gas industry.
    • Must have Excellent computer skill in Microsoft word and Excel.
    • Ability to communicate well in English Language, Analytical Skills as well as the ability to demonstrate a creative approach in problem solving.
    • Ability to lead effectively with minimal supervision and be proactive team and company goals
    • A good initiative and creativeness is required, with ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
    • Must be a proactive self-starter and be able to plan and use time to maximum benefit

    Job Description:
    Our client, an international oil company with substantial crude oil production and export has currently commence a drilling and completions project that will run for 3-4yrs and we have been awarded the contract to staff this project.

    Role:
    Establish Drilling and Completions Fluids programs.
    Assist, advice and support all drilling fluid activities in planning and in daily operations.
    Direct and coordinate field fluids engineering activities.
    Monitor product consumption and forecast needs for fluids related materials and ensure supply will be met. Develop fluids related bid tender specifications and perform bid analysis

    Responsibilities:
    • Measure and maintain fluid properties to program specification.
    • Monitor chemical inventory offshore and maintain stock within agreed levels, ensuring storage in a safe manner with full environmental compliance.
    • Supervise the loading and back loading of drilling muds, brines, chemicals and equipment.
    • Supervise all pit and line cleaning, prior to receiving fluids and on completion of well operations.
    • Collect all required data for the end of well reports for analysis and review.
    • Develop and implement Fluids Design in conjunction with drilling and workover engineers.
    • Updating Fluids standards as required (already developed and in place)
    • Ensure contractor delivery to international standards by leading fluids audits:
    • Audit of contractor mud / brine plants including loading facilities and transport cleaning
    • Audit / assessment of contractor fluid engineer competencies
    • Review and enhance displacement spacer designs between fluids
    • Improve loss circulation efficiency and develop a lost circulation decision tree
    • Improve fluids designs to address reactive / swelling clay issues
    • Working with team to enhance primary job zonal isolations
    • Driving appropriate implementation of new technology
    • Ensure application of international standards (API, ISO) and best practice as appropriate.
    • Lead by example with a strong commitment to HSE, drive fluids HSE agenda with rig teams and fluids vendors.
    • Performance management fluids performance against  agreed KPIs

           
    Required Qualification:
    • Has a 15years Plus work experience in Mud or Drilling Fluids Engineer.
    • Demonstrable experience in deepwater field fluids engineering in the oil industry and it's environment.
    • Experience in drill cutting waste management and tracking.
    • Knowledge of Fluids related bid tender specifications and analysis
    • Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Effective communication skills.
